Retail Store Cleanouts for Store Closures, Renovations, and Lease Ends

Retail Cleanout and Strip Out Jobs We Handle

Store closures and full clearances: When a retail location closes, everything needs to come out before the landlord or property manager does the final walkthrough. We remove shelving, display units, fixtures, furniture, point of sale equipment, and any remaining packaging or stock material and leave the unit empty.

Renovation strip outs: Before a store refit or renovation can begin, the existing interior needs to be cleared. We remove the old shelving systems, counters, display cases, flooring, and cabinetry so your contractor can start on a clean space.

End of lease cleanouts: Tenants handing back retail units at lease end often need a complete clearance on a tight deadline. We work to your handover date, remove everything that is not part of the base building, and provide a commercial invoice for your records.

Property manager and landlord requests: Commercial property managers and landlords clearing a vacated retail unit for re leasing can arrange the job directly with us. We clear the space, sort for recycling where possible, and invoice commercially.

How a Retail Store Cleanout Works

  1. Contact us with the unit address, a rough description of what needs to go, and your required completion date. For larger strip outs or mall locations we schedule a site visit. For smaller retail units we can often provide an estimate from photos.
  2. We assess the scope, confirm pricing, and check any mall or plaza access requirements including loading dock hours, elevator restrictions, or after hours access. A written quote is provided before any work begins.
  3. Our crew arrives on the agreed date and completes the removal. For larger units or phased renovations we can complete removal in stages.
  4. Materials are sorted for recycling, donation where applicable, and disposal. Before and after documentation is available on request for property managers and landlords.

Frequently Asked Questions About Retail Store Cleanouts

Common questions from retailers, landlords, and property managers before booking a retail cleanout.

What types of retail store items do you remove?

We remove shelving units, gondola shelving, display cases, clothing racks, counters, signage, mannequins, office furniture, stockroom shelving, refrigeration units, food service equipment, packaging materials, and general renovation debris. We take both the front of house retail fixtures and the back of house storage and office contents. For specialized equipment such as walk-in coolers or large food service installations, contact us to confirm scope before booking.

Can you work in a mall or plaza with access restrictions?

Yes. We work in enclosed malls, strip malls, and commercial plazas regularly. We coordinate with building management, work within freight elevator and loading dock schedules, and follow all access protocols required by the property. When you book, let us know the property name and any known access restrictions and we will confirm our availability within those windows.

Do you provide commercial invoicing for retail cleanouts?

Yes. All retail cleanout and strip out jobs come with a commercial invoice. For property management companies and retail landlords we can issue invoices in the format required for your records. Net 30 terms are available for established accounts. Before and after photos are also available on request to document unit condition for lease handback purposes.
